New York--Albany. Undated (1861-1865) D.L. Wing & Co. Fuld-010H-16a. Copper. Plain Edge. AU-53 (NGC). 19 mm. The discovery piece for the attribution, this piece combines the D.L. Wing dies 28540 and 28575. Warmly toned overall in medium brown, a swirl of ancient verdigris at the upper left reverse hardly detracts.
