This is one of the most visually inspiring 1870 Proof quarter we have seen, and is the second FINEST KNOWN in the Cameo designation, behind the monster Col. Green-Eric Newman-Bob Simpson PR67+ CAM. Impeccable surfaces have nearly FLAWLESS smooth mirrors. The reflective surfaces are clean and have a deep, beaming flash that contrasts boldly with the frosty devices. Concentric bands of vivid royal blue, teal, and regal violet is accented by rose, apricot, gold and amber patina. The eye appeal is STUNNING! Only 1,000 Proofs were struck. PCGS 2, NGC 5, CAC 1. This is the ONLY PR66+ CAM graded by PCGS. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $6,300 and we know a coin like this will sell for a very strong bid.
