What an incredible quality 1904 Proof! Usually these do not come nice, but this is a really nice one! WOW! The eye appeal of this coin is very high end. The glassy fields have a bold reflection that enlivens the totally original dappled blue, gold, olive, tan, and pewter toning. The details are razor sharp and the devices have a brilliant, glossy finish that blends nicely with the watery reflective fields. The eye appeal is quite high end. Only 650 Proofs were struck. PCGS 30, NGC 29, CAC 12. Do not let the pops fool you, the last PCGS PR66 CAC sold back in March 2015 for $7,638 (and the presently offered GEM is much nicer!.
