- ALBANIA. 2 Franga Ari, 1926-R. PCGS MS-65 Gold Shield. KM-7; Mont-44. Tied at this penultimate numerical grade with just nine pieces certified finer (all MS-66) at either NGC or PCGS. Sower walking right. Issued under King Zog while president prior to his self-coronation as king of Albania several years later. Designed by Giuseppe Romagnoli at the Rome mint. Bold strike with gorgeous smooth lilac tone on the obverse with hints of graphite on the reverse. Strong underlying luster and highly attractive. Estimate: $800 - $1,200.
