Obverse: Head of Liberty left, with Phrygian cap on pole over shoulder; Reverse: Legend in ten lines within wreath. Deeply brown in color, this type is heavily inspired by the 'Libertas Americana' medal produced nearly a decade prior, with this piece being of intense interest to the collectors of that highly popular early American type.
