This is the SINGLE FINEST PCGS graded 1869 Proof quarter in the non CAM designation, and tied with a single PR66+ CAM for highest graded for the date. Deeply beaming mirrored fields are the epitome of perfection. They are sleek, clean, icy smooth, and have an incredible depth of clarity. The surfaces are toned over with a pastel teal-blue overtone. The devices are crisp and the obverse offers a moderate contrast. The eye appeal is off the charts! Only 600 Proofs were struck. PCGS 8, NGC 10, CAC 9.
