URUGUAY. 40 Centesimos, 1844. Montevideo Mint. PCGS VF-20 Gold Shield. KM-4; Antunez-6.6.1. Coin alignment/"female" sunface (sol de cabellera). An EXTREMELY RARE type featuring a "female" face for the personification of the sun (rather than the usual "male"), this charming specimen exhibits even brown surfaces that are problem free.
