- MEXICO. 8 Escudos, 1772-FM. Charles III (1759-88). NGC AU-55. Fr-33; KM-156.1; Cal-Type 14 #87. First year of three year type with inverted mint mark and assayer letters. Pleasantly toned with only light evidence of wear on the cheek and side curl of hair. Some mild bagginess consistent to the assigned grade. Strong luster throughout with well illuminated legends.
