- 1847 Liberty Head Half Eagle. MS-62 (PCGS). CAC. Handsome rose-orange surfaces are sharply struck with modest semi-reflective qualities to otherwise softly frosted luster. The 1847 is the most available half eagle from its decade in terms of total number of coins known, but it remains scarce to rare in all Mint State grades.
