- Frosty olive brown and steel with reddish chocolate brown toning in protected areas on the left side of the obverse. No roughness or notable marks, but this cent has gone without a bath for at least a century and the luster is rather hidden under a thin layer of dirt and oxidation. A small spot of shallow black crud in the dentils at star 7 is a good identifying mark until a bath. MDS. Struck slightly off center to K-3. Our grade is VF35</B>, perhaps slightly better without the dirt. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. <BR>Estimated Value $1,000-UP.
