FROM THE SEATTLE COLLECTION What a neat way to start out this denomination. A pleasing GEM, well struck from a buckling and cracked obverse die. Delightful, original surfaces have pale gray-tan and gold patina on both sides, and show a soft glowing luster. The originality adds boldly to the eye appeal. PCGS 59, NGC 21. It has been nearly five years since the last one sold in auction, realizing $940 in July 2015 and the current Collectors Universe value is listed at $1,000.
