1902-S Barber Dime. MS-67 (NGC). Writing in the 2009 book <em>Collecting & Investing Strategies for Barber Dimes</em>, Jeff Ambio establishes the 1902-S as the fourth-rarest San Francisco Mint Barber Dime in Mint State. The author accounts for only one or two coins in Superb Gem MS-67,&nbsp;a fact that confirms the high Condition Census standing of the present example. A nicely frosted piece with light toning in olive-apricot iridescence, we see hardly any abrasions to either side. Boldly, if not sharply struck in all areas.
