- It looks like this coin was carefully saved from the day it fell from the dies. Problem free surfaces are absolutely pristine. A strong, brilliant luster shows off mostly untoned gleaming silver surfaces. Traces of toning can be seen at the extreme peripheries, but this SUPERB GEM can be described as nearly untoned. The strike is sharp, the definition bold and crisp. The eye appeal is exceptional. PCGS 30, NGC 25. The most recent example brought $6,000 in March 2023.
