- 1747/6-A Sou Marque. Paris Mint. Vlack-26c. Rarity-7. Second Semester. VF-30 (PCGS). 32.4 grains. The overdate designation is accurate, but our second semester attribution is based solely on the Vlack listing since planchet roughness and an uneven strike have obscured the definition in many areas, including the upper right reverse field where the second semester period would be located. The date is fully legible, the central motifs are quite bold, and all important peripheral features are clear. With mottled steel-olive and slate-gray patina. Provenance: From the Sydney F.
