- CHINA. Kirin. 7 Mace 2 Candareens (Dollar), CD (1901). Kirin Mint. PCGS MS-61. L&M-536; K-425; KM-Y-183a.1; WS-0431. Inverted "S" in CANDAREENS and dot inside Manchu script. A stunning Mint States example with even soft gray toning and a champagne hued luster that is dazzling to observe. An NGC MS-61 sold for over $8,000 in our May 2020 Hong Kong sale (lot 42261), and this example is far nicer in appearance and strike. Estimate: $10,000 - $15,000.
