- VAM-3 is the so-called "capped die" for 1879-CC. Unexpected luster still ruminates in the fields for this middle-grade example, suggesting that a very slight upgrade might be possible. Bold and reasonably original, the surface still shows remnants of darker tone within the protected recesses of the design elements.
