- 1866 Liberty Seated Half Dime. Proof-64 Cameo (PCGS). This charming specimen is warmly and originally toned, the obverse the more extensively patinated of the two sides. Survivors of this 725-piece Proof issue have long enjoyed heightened demand with collectors due to the low mintage, key date status of the Philadelphia Mint's 1866 circulation strike half dime (just 10,000 coins struck).
