No question this coin is a HIGH END GEM! Wonderful surfaces are remarkably clean and smooth. Only when using a strong glass can you find a totally microscopic fleck or two. For a 1919-S, the luster is above average and is like the kind you'd see on a more common P Mint. Both sides enjoy a light original nickel color. There is a small crescent on the right obverse of rose/champagne/green colors. All the details are well struck. The eye appeal is excellent! PCGS 33, NGC 17, CAC 12. PCGS has graded 6 in MS65+. This coin sold last in Heritage for $34,800 in August 2021. The current Collectors Universe Value is $45,000. This coin is closer to 66 than just being a regular MS65. You do NOT see many 1919-S In GEM with CAC Beans-they are tough! Cert. Number 41255444 PCGS # 3943
