1807 Draped Bust Half Cent. C-1, the only known dies. Rarity-1. Manley Die State 3.0. AU-50 (PCGS). Deep olive-brown surfaces appear somewhat hard and glossy to the unassisted eye, though low magnification picks up some scattered ticks, none of them are severe enough to warrant individual mention. The design motifs are equal to the task of the assigned grade, and all things considered, the present piece is a pleasing representative example of a date that is often seen on granular planchets.
