- GREAT BRITAIN. Coronation of Edward VII & Alexandra Silver Medal, 1902. London Mint. Edward VII. PCGS MATTE SPECIMEN-65. BHM-3737; Eimer-1871b. Diameter: 31mm. By G. W. DeSaulles. Obverse: EDWARD VII CROWNED 9 AUGUST 1902, crowned and mantled bust of Edward right, wearing Chain of the Garter; garlanded laurel branch below; Reverse: ALEXANDRA QUEEN CONSORT, crowned, veiled, and draped bust of Alexandra right; garlanded flowers and scroll with date below. An attractive example of the type with mostly steel gray surfaces. This Gem is quite enticing with a mother of pearl like sheen when moved in the light.
