R3, very rare (168 Proofs were struck of Lewis Pingo's new design, including 100 given to directors of the Bank of England; the purpose was to preserve examples of the currency type first issued in this year). Especially choice and most desirable as a classic of the late 18th century. Purchased in 1986. PCGS graded Proof 65.</B> <BR>Estimated Value $3,000 - 4,000.
