One of the prettiest 1934-D 5C you will ever see! This coin is not only VERY HIGH END but has a ton of color!
After carefully examining this GEM with a strong glass, we wonder why it's not an MS67 (NO promises). The surfaces are as clean and sleek as they come. There actually is a strong luster all over. Both sides are graced with Mother Nature's best toning. Totally original shades of pale green/gold/golden brown/pale violet/blue swirl all over. These colors are vibrant and stand out. All of the details are well struck. The eye appeal is fantastic!
PCGS 129, NGC 31, CAC 42. There are 14 in MS66+ and since 2020 we have had the honor of selling all the PCGS MS66+ examples that have sold in auction. The most recent example sold for $19,975 in our Regency 61 sale last month. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $18,500. PCGS has graded a single MS67 finer. You will need to come in with guns blazing if you hope to capture this stunning piece for your collection. If you missed the one last month, this coin is its equal. Best of luck!
