GREAT BRITAIN. Victoria Golden Jubilee Silver Medal, 1887. PCGS SPECIMEN-62 Gold Shield. BHM-3219; Eimer-1733b. Official Issue By L.C. Wyon after J.E. Boehm and Sir Frederick Leighton. Obverse: Draped bust of Queen Victoria left; Reverse: Victoria enthroned with two overhanging cherubs and seven surrounding allegories representing arts and industry. A bold and well struck example of the type with slightly cloudy toning in the fields but nonetheless reflective with frosty devices. Estimate: $800 - $1,000.
