THE BOYLSTON COLLECTION PART II While mintages were small in the previous decade, by the time the last issuance of Seated Liberty quarters came around, over 3.9 million were struck. However, SUPERB examples just do not exist! This remarkable MS67 example is tied for second highest graded by PCGS. Blazing mint brilliant radiance booms all over, as bright and fresh as the day it fell from the dies. An incredible cartwheel luster rolls boldly all over, especially on the reverse, where it highlights the sharply struck, fully frosted devices. The surfaces are untoned. A strong glass fails to reveal any marks of consequence, and the eye appeal is incredible. PCGS 3, NGC 13, CAC 3. The most recent PCGS/CAC example sold in the 2014 FUN auction for $6,527. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $4,500 and the CAC CPG value is $4,750. Just a single MS68 is graded higher. A SUPERB capstone to a SUPERB set. Bid accordingly. Cert.
