详细说明: FROM THE BANKER COLLECTION Ex Simpson Collection. A STUNNING, SUPERB example which is the single FINEST KNOWN specimen of this excessively RARE Rarity -7+ Standard Silver pattern quarter, struck in aluminum with a reeded edge. Deep and "watery" mirrors beam from all over. The mirrors are super clean, have excellent clarity, and are super flashy. The planchet does not have the typical defects the majority of aluminum pieces show. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and have remarkable strikes. The eye appeal is fabulous! PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. The only other example is graded PR61 and has never been sold in auction. From our sale of the Simpson Collection, Part 1 January 2017, where it realized $11,750. Prior to that it was in the Southern Collection of Patterns, which was the huge pattern deal in 2008 (it was figured in that deal for $16,500).
