- The Crimson Collection. Most of the coins from the famous bag hoard are heavily marked and typically bright, this coin being the opposite in both regards. It may well derive from another source. At any rate, attractive Navy-blue and deep indigo hues dominate the surface, which itself actually displays refreshingly few marks and still retains significant luster.
