This is a great looking near-GEM with brilliant, flashy, deep, clear, watery mirrors that beam from all over. Frosty, well struck devices stand out against the mirrored fields with a vibrant cameo contrast. The eye appeal is wonderful. Only 813 Proofs were struck. PCGS 9, NGC 4, CAC 5. This is the only CAC coin to ever sell in auction. Ex Teich Family Collection (Heritage, FUN 2013), lot 6392, where it realized $4,259; previously from Stack's T.K. Harvin Collection sale, June 1959, lot 1168. The current PCGS value is listed at $5,150. NO example has ever graded DCAM, and this date is RARE any finer in the CAM designation. Cert.
