THE CORINTH COLLECTION What a wonderful example of this short lived subtype! WOW. Clearly this GEM was housed in an old Library of Coins or Wayte Raymond style album for many, many years, before being submitted to NGC for grading over 30 years ago. This colorfully toned beauty is housed in an NGC "fatty" style holder and is fresh as fresh can be to the market. Well struck with a thick, satiny mint frost. Dappled teal-blue and coppery-amber gold tones frame silver centers on both sides. The eye appeal is VERY alluring. PCGS 26, NGC 20, CAC 6. The last two CAC-approved examples to sell were graded by PCGS and sold for $2,280. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $2,500 and it jumps to $5,000 in MS66.
