详细说明: FROM THE GRAND PRIX COLLECTION Ex Joshua Collection (not noted on the holder). Wow! This is an amazing example of this important KEY date Mercury dime! Bright and brilliant silver luster radiates all over on both sides. Sharply struck throughout, the central bands are fully split and separated which is a rare feature for this date that is often weakly struck. The San Francisco mint issues of 1926 were not well produced, nor were they saved in any quantity at the time of issue. Red cents, Gem nickels and dimes, and full head quarters are all very rare and in high demand. This GEM dime is a great example of the date, tied for second FINEST graded by either service. PCGS 12, NGC 2, CAC 2. The most recent PCGS/CAC coin to sell in auction realized $24,675 in our January 2018 Regency Auction 25, on an estimate of $16,000-$17,000. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $18,500 which seems cheap for a CAC-approved example. This one is ex Joshua Collection, sold in October 2000, realizing $14,375 way back then! Cert.
