Offered here is a wonderful GEM with bold, flashy mirrored surfaces that reflect out from under a beautiful melange of iridescent color, while retaining a lot of original mint red color. We are not sure why CAC did not bean this coin, but rest assured, the eye appeal is very nice! Only 600 were struck. PCGS 31, NGC 43. This is a date that is very rare finer, or displaying full red color. The most recent non-CAC coin to sell was graded by NGC and sold for $5,405 in the 2017 FUN auction. A PCGS/CAC coins more recently sold for $9,400 and the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $6,750. A very pleasing last year of this short lived series, and a tough date in such a high grade!
