FROM THE SAND HILLS COLLECTION What a wonderfully original and CHOICE Type II 3CS! Every detail is razor sharp in definition and the rich mix of variegated, antique "gray" toning shows accents of lavender, blue, steel and bold gold accents the boldness of the definition. While "only" a 63+, this coin has a solid eye appeal that is certainly closer to 64 quality than 63 quality. PCGS 124, NGC 95, CAC 11. This is the ONLY MS63+ graded and this coin sold in March 2011 for $1,150. We sold a PCGS MS64 CAC in our February 2017 Premier Session for $1,100 and we like this coin better.
