Very high end for the assigned grade--on first glance you would think this coin would be closer to the GEM category! Very original multicolored toning graces both sides and is brought to life with bold vivacity when the reflective, semi-Prooflike luster beams in a light. The devices are fully struck up, totally rendered by a forceful blow from the dies. One of only 4,000 struck for circulation. PCGS 7, NGC 12, CAC 2. No CAC approved example has ever sold in auction, and the most recent PCGS coin to sell brought $3,525 nearly four years ago in the 2014 ANA auction.
