详细说明: 1871 Pattern Dime. Judd-1081, Pollock-1217. Rarity-7-. Copper. Reeded Edge. Proof-65 RD (NGC). Obv: Longacre's Liberty as Indian Princess seated left on a globe, ribbon on globe reads LIBERTY in raised letters, furled flags behind, liberty pole with cap in right hand, 13 stars around, date below. Rev: "cereal" wreath with STANDARD above in tiny letters, 10 / CENTS within. The deep orange-red surfaces of this attractive Gem pattern exhibit boldly varied shades of red and orange in a bright light source. As noted at the uspatterns.com website, this is "the Longacre design with stars combined with the Standard Silver reverse of 1870. This was apparently implemented by William Barber as Longacre died in 1869 [January 1, 1869]." Around a dozen examples of Judd-1081 are thought to exist. Tied for finest RD Judd-1081 certified by NGC.
