- Contemporary Counterfeit 1711-D 30 Deniers, or Mousquetaire. In Imitation of Lyon Mint. Vlack-Unlisted. Rarity-8. Fine Details--Excessive Corrosion (PCGS). 26.9 grains. Ably described by Syd Martin as: "This has got to be the crudest counterfeit of this series I've ever seen. It is completely hand cut - letters, devices, date, etc. It appears to have been silvered, and some remains - covering reddish copper. It is irregular in shape.
