- The obverse of this GEM Proof is mostly red, with iridescent overtones and if graded solely on the obverse this would be a PR66 RB. The reverse clearly sat unmolested for ages where it was able to sit and take on a gorgeous, even chocolate brown patina with an overtone of pale violet-blue. The obverse mirrors are intensely brilliant and reflective, every detail is razor sharp. Only 1,000 Proofs were struck. PCGS 2, NGC 1, CAC 1. The ONLY PCGS PR66 BN to sell in auction brought $5,280 in February 2018 and was not CAC. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $3,250 and the CAC CPG value is $3,450. NONE are finer at PCGS in this designation, and VERY RARE finer in any color designation. Cert. Number 43987400 PCGS # 2297
