- 1828 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-107. Rarity-2. Curl Base Knob 2. MS-62 (PCGS). Uniform matte-like luster floods the fields of this beautiful Mint State piece. The obverse is largely pearly and brilliant, while olive-gold shades are noted at the lower reverse. Well centered and sharply defined throughout. Ranking just inside the top 10 specimens known for O-107, this is a significant offering for both Overton specialists and Guide Booktype collectors.
