From the Hallett Collection. One of the FINEST examples of the date certified by PCGS. This is a coin that looks as brilliant and high end as it did the day the dies came together at the Denver mint. A very bold impression from the dies has rendered all the details in their full forms, brought out in full 3-D effect. Blistering, brilliant luster blazes along on both sides. The luster is oozing from all over and the eye appeal is amazing! It is shocking that this coin survives in such a pristine state of preservation. PCGS 28, NGC 15, CAC 9. There are only two examples graded MS66+ FB. The other example is NOT CAC and sold for $7,638 in August 2012. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $6,500 and this superb coin will bring a very strong price when it crosses the block. Keep in mind, only six are graded finer, and the last MS67 FB, sold for $27,025. None of the MS67s are CAC-approved, making this the FINEST CAC-approved 28-D for collectors. Bid accordingly! Cert.
