- GREAT BRITAIN. 1/2 Crown, 1642. Shrewsbury Mint. Charles I (1625-49). PCGS VF-35 Secure Holder. S-2928; N-2372; cf.Brooker-814. A peculiar variety with a horse with hooves breaking the beaded circle and plume above cloak with a declaration reverse and no apparent mintmarks. Some doubling of obverse but not excessive and elements are clear. Glossy surfaces which have been toned over by attractive deep gray toning. Estimate: $400 - $600.
