- A very distinctive SUPERB CAMEO Proof Liberty Head Nickel. Boldly struck with deeply mirrored fields contrasting nicely with lightly frosted devices. Surfaces are pristine and suffused with a delicate patina of very light blue gold. PCGS 5, NGC 4. None higher. PCGS price guide value listed at $7,250. The last auction record for the date and grade was the present coin that realized $5,640 in September 2015. We can locate only 6 other auction appearances in this grade in the last 10 years.
