- GERMANY. Saxony. 2 Talers, 1839-G. Dresden Mint. NGC MS-64. Dav-874; KM-1149. A scarcer date of this relatively common double Taler issue, struck in the Kingdom of Saxony from 1839 to 1854. Elusive in the near-Gem preservation, the surfaces of this survivor display almost no marks and only faint, wispy handling that determines the grade.
