This monster GEM is tied with just one other coin for FINEST graded at PCGS in the DCAM designation, and one look you can clearly see why. Deep, reflective nickel mirrors are flashy and bold with awesome clarity. All the details are fully and crisply impressed by an exacting blow from the dies and they are fully frosted, providing a visually superb contrast. Using a strong glass we are unable to locate even the most insignificant fleck or line, or any sort of defect of any kind; truly the quality is worthy of being tied for FINEST! Only 500 were struck. PCGS 2, NGC 3. Only one PCGS example has ever sold in auction, realizing $31,050 back in October 2004. Even the last NGC coin sold well over a decade ago.
