Lustrous mahogany-brown with reddish-violet accents shine on the silken surfaces. Ms. Liberty’s tresses are fully struck and razor sharp. Free from all but the tiniest tick here or there, the eye appeal is wonderful. PCGS 4, NGC 5, CAC 3. Nicer than the Hines-Sheldon-Starr-Naftzger coin that realized $4,370 in September 2009 (the only PCGS-graded Small Date in 65 BN to sell). The current Collector’s Universe value is $4,000.
