This is a very pleasing example for the grade. The fiery red lustrous surfaces have lightly mellowed, showing deeper, orange-brown patina. The eye appeal is enhanced by exceptionally well preserved surfaces and crisply struck devices. The obverse die has an impressive break from the rim above the second T in TRUST, arching down through the tip of the ribbon to the rim at 2:45. PCGS 9, NGC 0, CAC 42 (all varieties together). The most recent example to sell realized $1,213 in April 2018 and the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $1,400. Only a single MS66+ RB is finer in the category. Cert.
