详细说明: Ex The New Millenium Collection, as noted on the insert. A GORGEOUS Longacre Indian Princess pattern dollar. The design, featuring Lady Liberty seated with an Indian headdress, holding a pole with a Liberty cap, supporting a globe with 13 stars around on the obverse and the Standard Silver reverse with the denomination inside of an agricultural wreath. Struck in copper with a plain edge. This is a VERY RARE low R-7 issue with less than a dozen known. The strike is bold, nearly in high relief. Every detail is razor sharp. More than 50% original RED blends with a mellow violet and azure patina. Both sides show a smattering of very minor carbon spots, attesting to the originality of this GEM, and they have no impact on the outstanding visual allure of this piece. PCGS 3, NGC 1, CAC 2. The most recent example to sell realized $21,600 in the 2019 ANA auction, as part of the E. Horatio Morgan Collection. There is just a single RB finer.
